Description

Insulating Fire Brick are a light weight refractory brick used for high-temperature insulation in retorts and other industrial application where thermal efficiency is crucial.

• IFB bricks are typically made from ceramic fibers, such as alumina-silica materials, mixed with binders and additives to enhance their insulating properties.
•  They are lightweight compared to traditional refractory bricks, which helps to reduce over weight of the machine.
• IFB bricks have excellent insulation properties, which help minimize heat loss and maintain high temperatures inside the retort more efficiently.
• IFB bricks have low thermal conductivity which helps to minimize heat transfer through the material.
